Research Interest

Our research interests are the mechanistic studies on roles of hormones and energy sensors in the regulation of food intake and energy homeostasis, communication between brain and body based on metabolic signals, and target screening for potential drugs for appetite control. Our goal of research is developing new diagnosis markers and providing therapeutic strategies for metabolism-related neurological disorders by identifying new targets regulating metabolism in neurons and tissues using neurometabolomics approach in Neurometabolomics Research Center (NRC) at DGIST.
